Some argue that the problem snowballs because girls are unable to find role models whom they can emulate. Like all glass ceilings, the answer is more successful and visible women.
Almost 20 years in the biz and it’s rare to come across another woman, who like me, is interested in digital technology from the perspective of building beyond the design visuals. I do think having women as mentors can help encourage young girls to think about coding as a possibility for their future. This articles provides some sobering stats on the situation.
